A new web portal for centralized Accounts Maintenance and Self-Service for Staff and Students will be launched on the 7th of May, 2018.

The portal will act as a medium for distribution of new student logins and introduce enhanced ways of changing or resetting forgotten passwords while reducing dependency on the IT Helpdesk. The portal has been designed using advanced web technologies and is mobile friendly.

Going forward password resets will be made 100% self-service (by sending OTP (One-Time-Passwords) to your registered Email or Mobile Phone number).

The current password reset portal at https://passwords.stamford.edu will be retired following the launch.


The IT Dept. has prepared several short video tutorials to assist you in using the new functions of the portal.
